Who we are

Spaceillion is made by Intellikode AS, a company in Norway. We are responsible for the data described here. Contact: yngvithor@gmail.com.

Playing without an account

Your streak, history and settings are stored on your device. So your daily score can appear on the public boards, the game also creates an anonymous ID for you — no name, email or password.

If you sign in

We store your email address, display name (and profile photo if you use Google) and your flight log, so your progress follows you between devices. Your display name and daily score are shown on the public leaderboards and to crews and launch parties you join.

Payments

Spaceillion+ purchases are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, the amount, and which account it belongs to.

Analytics

With your permission we use Google Analytics (through Firebase) to count visits and understand how the game is played: pages visited, games started and finished, device type, browser and approximate country. No ads, no ad personalisation, and we never sell data. If you say no, Google only receives anonymous pings without cookies. You can change your choice at any time in Settings.

Crash reports and performance

When something breaks we record the error message, the page it happened on and your browser version, so we can fix it. With analytics permission we also measure how fast pages load. None of this includes your name or email.

Answers and usage totals

To measure how rare answers are, we count which answers pilots give to each prompt, and which typed answers were not accepted (so we can add missing ones). We also keep daily totals of how often features are used — games started and finished, challenges sent, shares. These counts are stored as totals, not linked to you.

Where data lives

Accounts and game data are stored in Google Firebase (database in the EU). To keep bots out, Google reCAPTCHA checks that requests come from a real browser on our site. Payments are processed by Stripe. Google and Stripe act on our behalf under their data-processing terms.

Your choices

Turn analytics on or off in Settings. Clear the progress stored on this device with "Reset all progress" in Settings. To get a copy of your account data or have it deleted, email yngvithor@gmail.com and we will do it within 30 days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
